Ski Launch Destinations
CONWAY:
There are a number of public launch sites in the Conwy area. Upon registration and proof of insurance, craft can be launched by the public at the locations listed in this section.
Beacons Slipway, Conwy Morfa - general use for all types of craft:
Proof of Insurance and Registration is required for all Powered craft. This slipway is for the use of all craft, including PWC. There are tidal restrictions for launching and recovery: HW +/- 2 hours is recommended unless experienced. www.conwy.gov.uk
Aberhod Slipway, Colwyn Bay - Non Powered Craft Only
Powered craft launch at Victoria Pier. PWC only launch at Eirias Slip. www.conwy.gov.uk
Victoria Pier Slipway, Colwyn Bay- powered craft only (No PWC)
Proof of Insurance and Registration is required for all Powered craft. This slipway is for the use of boats of all types, except PWC. There is soft sand at certain points on the beach. www.conwy.gov.uk
Eirias Slipway, Colwyn Bay - personal water craft (PWC) only
Proof of Insurance and Registration is required for all Powered craft. This slipway is operated in partnership with Colwyn Jet Ski Club (CJSC) on Sundays and Bank Holidays. There is soft sand at certain points on the beach. www.conwy.gov.uk
